Question: I am 17 years old . I am sitting in o'lever now. Actually,i am very intrest in mass com and i know that there are many careers in mass com.I would like to know what course or career is suit me . I like to talk , give a speak, organize activity ,writing report and do performance ,so can you lead me to choose a suitable course.Thank you.
Answer: Mass communication offers career options in the fields, like various kinds of medias - newspapers, magazines, radio, television, advertisements, public relations etc.It includes:

Print journalism: it is collecting and editing of news for presentation through media.Over the years, print journalism has witnessed major transformation. The newspapers and magazines today cover a wide range of specialized sections like political events, business news, leisure, cinema, sports, career, health and so many other subjects, which demands for professionally qualified journalists. Given the variety of subjects to choose from, one can look forward to a field of his interest and pursue several available courses in that direction.

Electronic Journalism: Communication mediums like television, radio, audio, video etc. has made possible news, entertainment, information, education related subjects reach the very far and wide places.Electronic journalism offers to professionally qualified aspirants opportunities in a number of fields. Some of these are direction, production, camera, graphics, editing, sound, programme research, script writing etc.

So if you want to go in for mass communication , you have a wide variety of jobs to choose from and you can specialise in any field which interests you the most.

Many universities and institutes offer degree and diploma courses in Mass Communication in which would be able to learn all these subjects under one integrated course and you can even specialise in the field by doing post graduation in which you have interset and aptitude.
